I am proud of the opportunities offered by our Houston Community College, and its dedication to helping students reach their goals. HCC District 1 has enjoyed strong, inclusive leadership to date, and our students deserve nothing less than the continuation of strong, inclusive leadership.

 

As Trustee, I will to continue this legacy through:

 

hard work at the Board table, each and every meeting,

 

collaboration with our students about the challenges they face and what they would like their community college to be,

 

partnerships with our public schools that explore ways we can provide our current students with opportunities while simultaneously providing support, and

 

partnerships with businesses that give our students opportunities to discover their passion and equip them with the tools necessary to find their place.

 

Every student who dreams big and works hard deserves support on their path. HCC should remain an important part of that support.
